New York Fashion Week Recap

Another iconic New York Fashion Week for the books — with incredible shows from Tory Burch, Alice and Olivia, Tommy Hilfiger, Veronica Beard, and Love Shack Fancy. Top models such as Gigi Hadid, Charlee Fraser, Lila Moss, and the up-and-coming Alex Consani made appearances at various shows. Needless to say, it was a success.

New York Fashion Week has been an important tradition within the fashion community for many years because it created a globalized platform that allows designers to showcase their talent. Additionally, it gives models the opportunity to make their debut and boost their careers. The public eye focuses not only on the shows, but also on the influencers, actors, and singers attending who often capture their experiences on social media and give us the inside scoop.

This year, the week had many highlights, including Cucculelli Shaheen’s magnificent show at the New York Supreme Court. Models were dressed in shades of black, gold, and silk. Their gowns gave off a celestial tone, according to the show’s theme: Veritas (“truth” in Latin). This show ended the week off with a bang. On New York Men’s Day, designers such as Landeros, Sivan, Terry Singh, and others continued their progress in challenging the gender norms of fashion. Another crowd favorite was the appearance made by Jordan Chiles, an Olympic Gymnast at Kim Shui after her fantastic performance in Paris.
Overall, the 2024 New York Fashion Week was a great success and we can’t wait to see what it has in store for us next year!
