As we enter the fall season, we are going to need some great jeans. Jeans are the perfect staple clothing piece for all seasons, but in our climate here in California, they are best in the fall and winter seasons. You can wear jeans with a sweatshirt and have a super casual look, or you can dress jeans up with a fancy top and shoes. Overall, jeans work with almost any outfit and with any season. Finding the perfect pair of jeans is hard, but the perfect pair of jeans makes the perfect outfit. It is definitely worth the effort!
Many people struggle to find the perfect pair of jeans, including myself. There are various places to find jeans, and jeans vary in style, size, and length. Charlotte Krumins, a senior at Sacred Heart, has several favorite jean brands including Levis, Zara, Madewell, American Eagle, Pacsun, and Hollister. Some other high-end brands to make an investment in include Mother, Paige, and Jeanerica.
Once you find the jean brand you like, how do you choose your style? Right now the boot cut, wide leg, and ankle straight leg jean styles are very popular. Another new trendy style of jeans is sweatpant jeans. These sweatpants look like jeans but have the feel and fabric of sweatpants. It is the perfect combination of looking cute and feeling comfortable! You can buy these sweatpant jeans from Amazon, Rag and Bone, and Shop Elan.
Now once you have the perfect pair of jeans, how do you style them? For the fall and winter, you can wear Uggs or any type of boot. Most casual shoes work well with jeans. For jewelry, gold looks great as it contrasts the jean color and makes your jewelry really pop. Shirts and sweaters look great with classic jeans like the boot cut and ankle straight leg jeans. If you go with the comfortable, flowy jean sweatpant look, I would recommend styling them with a tighter top so you have the contrast. Happy fall jean shopping!
