Beware the last room in
Homer: the forsaken
Class deep into the hall.
Beware the devil’s room:
Where toxic water flows
Like a river of blood.
Beware the room’s warden:
He sounds like Mr. Grieb,
He is not Mr. Grieb.
Beware its residents:
Husks of students long dead
Hiding in the drawers.
Beware the witching hour:
Z period classes,
And infinite chem tests.
Beware the midnight bell:
So when it rings, you are
Not brought to the drawers.
